The last few days have been busy with everything other than writing, but I did squeeze in a few hours of editing! Moving furniture and appliances to make room for the necessary new ones. I was also having some plywood ripped off the floor and a piece of flooring replaced in preparation for a new vinyl floor put down. Then, there was the clean-up at the end of the day, which left me exhausted.
DAISY
Tonight, I had to daub the coconut cream on her nose to start her eating! Now she is finishing up the food spilled from her bowl!

Henry is already finished and chilling on the chair.

But now, it is day two of the Alphabet challenge. B is for Blue Bottles Writing Studio. I started the group in 2018, an informal writing group in collaboration with Bellingham at Home, a member of the Village to Village Network. https://bellinghamathome.clubexpress.com/
In 2020, I published our first book. It is a variety of stories from four independent authors. Check us out. It is available from Amazon Books,
Our group has grown but changed very little. We still meet bi-weekly to share our creativity. Writing short stories and sometimes poems from prompts from various sources. Today, I would like to share a poem by one of our newer members, Jane Kopper Hilleary, a children’s book author. You can find her books on Amazon.

BUBBLES by Jane Kopper Hilleary
All was well until NO BUBBLES showed up.
He was shouting,
Under no circumstances are bubbles allowed.
No bubbles! And that’s final! You hear?
But, but, but….
NO!
Not even when…
Never! Did you hear me
I did, but, but…
No buts! No bubbles!
This nonsense must stop!
So all the bubbles went away, gone from the air, and gone from our souls.
A world without bubbles is a world without joy.
Then somewhere far away,
a child giggled,
Her little joyous giggle rang out and turned into laughter.
We know how contagious laughter is, and
that laughter spread and spread.
Now the bubbles are back.
They’re in our souls,
they’re in the air—
they’re everywhere.
That’s is all for today, folks enjoy the read. EJP
