I love the changes I see happening every day in the garden. Although the weather is a little cool today, winter and snow are finally retreating into the back of my memory. My eight-pound, seventeen-year-old schnauzer bounces like a bunny as she runs up and down my alley in her excitement to be out of doors. New flowers are opening every day. Today my pink and white magnolia buds are opening. One of my flowering currant bushes, I have five or six, have pink buds. The Hellebores, ranging from dark purple to pink and white, fill my garden with happy flower faces. During the sunshine of the last few days, I have been uncovering my multitude of pots in my back garden, the rain today washes their sides, and their bright red, brilliant blues, terracottas, and white color shine through the cloudy drizzle.
